As if we needed another reason to go shopping, right? . . But, if we invest in basics, in my opinion it’s always money well spent! Together with denim shorts and white t-shirts, what it won’t miss my summer wardrobe is silk tops.

Lace and daywear doesn’t normally walk hand in hand but if we effortlessly pair it with distressed denim, sneakers and a boy style shirt it’s a piece that we can take from day to night and it’s worth the little investment. It’s a very simple and effective way to add a feminine touch to a boyish ensemble.

There is something about putting on a pair of distressed denim and a t-shirt that just feels so right! But the thing is, you don’t want to feel underdressed.

There is never too much fuss about my outfits, mainly because I think simplicity is always the main key to a good look. Add in your latest sneakers addiction, denim trend and favourite jacket and you are in for a perfect casual look.

My way of styling a casual outfit is to always add chic details. This time being my Chanel jumbo and new Lucky Eyes jewellery.

Basically, I always ask myself ‘what makes this look special?’ And to me, the special bit is added by one or two max statement pieces.. an edgy pair of shoes, a pretty bag, or some special jewellery. This is where all the attention will go!

The good thing is that, with the right details, you will never feel underdressed for a pretty restaurant or a daily event/meeting even wearing sneakers.. it’s very modern and cool!

Nothing better than jumping into the new season wearing wool with character! This colour pop cuff unisex knit by Sheep of Steel is the cosiest piece of my wardrobe at the moment and I intend to make it my winter ‘Linus Blanket’, from jumper to shoulder and vice versa.

We have seen designers having Fall ’14 craftwork spirit all toned up from Prada goat-hair pardonable seam details, to Celine’s unfolded sleeves and flared knitted pants to the J. Altuzarra’s gracefully hand-woven dresses. My new entry is a unique slice of fall hand-knitted in the UK. And who better than the Brits? Italians might know their pasta but let’s face it, these peeps know their knits!
