During these two weeks in Italy I totally adopted a white palette uniform. I let the sun, the heat, the beautiful landscape of Tuscany absorb me in a nomadic non-colour charm . . On a sartorial point of view, I am going to pack this Object dress back to London and wear it with knee length boots and a chunky knit which makes it the perfect transitional outfit.
Now, off the dress and the AW thoughts, the pool is waiting for me!
It’s the time of the year for denim shorts, shirt dresses and pool slides. Being grown up on the beach and now a prime sun seeker, it’s also my favourite time ..
Oh yeah, and some other little opulence, zip-secured in a mini plastic pouch: a spectacular (also in terms of price tag) black and white one-piece carried inside my new Stella McCartney beach bag (price tag a bit more high up – but justified by the fact it can go from beach to weekend bag).
This summer, a refined french labelled one-piece is my pick the for beach and poolside force.
Good thing is, if you look around you will find an outstanding choices of one-piece swimwear on the high-street which doesn’t require you to dig your assets .. After all, I am a city girl now and my days of hair smelling of sea salt are counted ..

Bits of a girlish flavour light up the starting of my summer romance .. One week in Ravenna, Weekend at my parents winery and next week off to Tuscany.
The ones who has been reading me for a while now, know I am not a full time blogger – just yet. I work as retail manager for a french brand based in Mayfair .. and already for almost a month now, I am surrounded by beautiful AW collections in store.
This time of year I always struggle between loving the summer weather and wanting to start wearing the winter layers. With my 2 weeks of summer leave coming up in a few days, I am reviewing my outfit summer options and got to this conclusion:

Same as the sweatshirt last year, this closet essential has touched resolutely the reality of high fashion. This summer season we have seen many designers creating their own embroidered, embellished, oversized, as dresses and in luxe materials.
Demanding a late summer styling proposal? Pairing a tasty bold colour shirt into a pleated skirt is the baking hot trade on the streets at the moment. Or, for a city-to-beach edition, witness Alexander Wang, who expressed shirts unbuttoned from the waist up – It worked for me on the streets of East London, without the need of a bikini underneath.
I am off to start packing .. shirts and slides mainly!
Last Wednesday I met up with my friends Lorna (LornaLuxe) and Glenda (WorkYour
Style) at Bill’s in Hoxton Square for coffee, which translated in to wine, which translated into dinner.
It’s when you’re having the best time that you won’t notice the hours passing by.
